Bending records to get them through letter box carry on (1 Viewer)

Anyone ever experience this kind of muppet behaviour?
Its downright disgusting.

Thankfully this has never happened to me, if the postman can't fit something through the letter box he just leaves a note for me to go collect it down at the sorting office.

Well i thought my Postlady would know better, she knows i get records from time to time - she must have had a bad bank holiday weekend or something.

The record was broken in half - if your going to bend a package like that it`d take some strenght i reakon.I just wished i`d seen her face when she heard the crack split the record halfway through bending it.
Feck em anyway!

Would it be naive of me to say you should complain to An Post? If something doesn't fit they're not supposed to MAKE it fit. They just leave a note and you pick it up at the post office. They do this with books (and packages that overtly non-breakable) all the time, so it's almost incomprehensible that a post person would bend a record. Terrible thing.

Blast it - she`d kill me if i got her in trouble.
I don`t know, i`d be better off reporting it i guess.I think a talk with the postlady/person first might be the easiest - and we had forged a good relationship all these years too.
Theres some stupid prats out there, i gotta say.

No?

I hope you dont mind but this is the funniest thread ive read in ages.

If someone bent my records in half id bend their bleedin 7 inch and shove it thru their own letterbox.. Thick fuckin post person. Like surely the hard cover or the 'do not bend' would give it away.

If some dumbass did that to any of my records I would go flippin mental at them. Only the other day I tried to "straighten" an incidental warp on one of my own records using the old hands-on method, which has never worked in the history of vinyl. Naturally the cocking thing shattered in my hands. Went a bit mental at myself I did.

i know how to fix warped reords

its the postal coonts need sortin out
this is the second time ive waited longer than a month for records
the better arrive soon
