It does look good. Christian Bale is an inspired choice. He has the suave, playboy looks and the neccessary bulk to be intimidating in the dual role.

ill tell you why....

when michael keaton played batman he didnt fully realize the most important thing about batman.......that bruce wayne is a fake...batman pretends to be him.

this brings about duality. Bruce Wayne's personality is exaggerated by batman to cement the cover. He is a caricature of a playboy millionaire. Michael Keaton simply spoke less in the batsuit.

However, one needs only reference american psycho to see bale's ability to portray the dark psycho putting on the cover of a thick billionaire.

this is why he's great.

ps. he also has greater physical presence than keaton.

Bale certainly has the drinking sparkling apple juice with a foreign hooker at 10am shit eating grin that a year one story needed. also, he's insane.

When The Dark Knight Returns came out, there was talk of Clint Eastwood playing him in a movie of it. Hmmmmm.
