Bank Of Ireland's new charges - is anyone jumping ship? (1 Viewer)

UPDATE: Contrary to my pro-BOI stance above, I am now jumping ship. We went well over the 90 transactions and ended up with a €27 bill for 3 months. That's over a ton a year. Got the PTSB switching forms and am going to hop over. They have no charges if you meet certain criteria and anyone who is in employment should be able to meet them. They'll do all the donkey work with switching direct debits and standing orders etc.

How are they for online banking? Not happy with the fees BOI are charging me at the moment but 365 is a great service.

I have a savings account with them at the moment and the online stuff looks like it was built in 2003. Still, does the job and they've releases an app now as well.

KBC have just announced they are looking at entering the market too.

I got the transfer forms for PTSB, but I have an overdraft that I need to clear on my BOI account first, they won't transfer it. Which is fair enough I guess.
