Great idea for a thread. Wish I thought of it.

Anywahey, there's bound to be some decent music out there lurking behind some christ-awful chart hits. I for one will not rule out the possibility of Charles & Eddie being musical genii until further notice.

Any takers?

what's your view on the inclusion of Kevin Rowland's 13th Time on the 'Director's Cut' reissue?

I'm getting used to it and actually play the CD more often than the original LP nowadays
I only ever had the remastered version so I can't really comment. I suck.

Two off the top of my head - and it's something that's bothered me for a while.

Supergrass - Alright (Superb band, but 80% of the population who know the band only think of this song)

And secondly, Babybird, with that You're Gorgeous track - he's put out some fine stuff but it's gone largely unnoticed.

Beach Boys - 98% of the herd like their "let's go surfin' now..." shit, but, like, have you heard the other stuff? Decent. (note to editor - exactly what combination of font and smilies is used to indicate VAST UNDERSTATEMENT?)

same thing with the Beatles, really....everybody knows "Twist and Shout" but does everybody know "Happiness is a Warm Gun"? nope. that's why i hate everybody.

Neil Young - Keep on rockin in the free world

Its good but not great!
