Speaking of backups, but somewhat unrelated... so I apologize for the thread hijack.

Anyone know how to get access to the internal memory of a dead nokia n95?

The memory isn't removable and it contains 8gb of photo's n video's most of which are my kids first laugh, first steps etc...

Would love to be able to get at them

Update 2 (The numbers): 7h 40min down maybe another 7 to go. 52% complete, 45039 files found.
I was trying to do a bit of 3d editing earlier but I got a bit of shock when I thought it had crashed. Stopped using computer for a while.
Hopefully one final positive update in the morning.

Recuva, same people who make crap cleaner.
I think it was a quick format, not sure how well it'd do on a long format but seems really good for free software.

Yup Everything is in one giant folder, it'll take a while to sort it out but it's there.
Well, that's learned me my lesson on backups, time to get at least another drive... and I know a bit more about what formatting actually does.
