My experience is that 99% of bands I've played with have a good attitude. The 1% who haven't are always young guys in their first band who somehow think that acting like a dick will get them into NME.

Occassionally I have these bizarre conversations with otherwise nice people who talk about "the backstabbing nature of the Dublin scene". To which I have to respond: "?!?". Usually I think what they mean is: "I'm not famous yet and I can't see why not" or "some people don't like my music and I can't see why not."

Do they expect to be carried around town on a bier for mastering a 3-chord trick? (That would be nice though...)

why do people hate Mainline, pretty much just for having an "image". I bet you all have loads of albums by bands that have an image.

best example was lupine howl, the spiritualised rejects band. just shitty human beings.
