No but they were doing work in the area a few weeks ago. I had no connection for a day. Don't know if that was upgrading or repairing. I heard that the 3mb lines are being upgraded to 10mb. I'll check tonight

Wow! That's freaken insane. We just got the NTLBB into the new place, but my computer's still fucked so i've not had a go off it yet. 10mb though. That's insane.

I rang 'em up last week but found out its not available in our area. Fucks sake ... Dublin 8. not like we're in the middle of Leitrim or anything ...

yeah my mate rang me 11 last night screamin down the phone that he was downloadin at over a meg a second. he was on the 3mb and is now on 10. im on the 2 mb but i havent been upgraded yet.

its bloody great getting upgrades for free!!

Apparently this was a mistake. They were upgrading the UK network and accidently boosted the irish one for a short time.
