This is built like a tank, it's cheap and it'll last you forever. Plus, I've heard some nice stuff recorded through one.

I bought an M-AUDIO Fast Track USB interface recently and it does me fine.

Records guitar and vocals decent enough - the software you get with it is crap though.

I'd suggest Audacity if you wondering.

i've used one and its grand - pity it can only handle one input at a time. anyone know of a soundcard thats affordable and can record 2 people playin simultaneously? if ya know what i mean...
