Man, LinkedIn is insufferable

It's like those disney films where emotions are turned into sprites except the only emotion available is the chemicky happy you get when you've medicated yourself as far as possible from depression and have an almost joker makeup victim smile.

A lady i spoke with recently reffered to it as 'the final social network' and i keep thinking about that

I actually like the page long posts of interview tips from Indian IT influencers

probably heading into the major complaint territory.

having persistent issues with my back, hips and legs, since mid may an initial injury has tracked into right hip in a big way - physio reckons it's disc injury. (when a physio tells you 'you have an interesting back' its not a good thing)

Last night I managed to give myself a 'top up' back strain in a different place.

Combined with lots of work stress at the moment, this summer is decidedly meh

I was helping my 16 year old make stepping stones at Halloween, and tweaked my back (my sacroiliac joint). Really affected my hip too, and my arse muscles. Only started to feel normal again in June, after 6 months of 35 mins of strength/stretching exercises every single morning. The back specialist says I have "moderate" arthritis in my lower back and 2 bulging discs (one of them with a tear in the disc lining), and I'll need to keep doing the exercises (or similar ones) for the rest of my life

I've kept pretty fit for the last 15 years so it all seems a bit unfair :(

yeah... sounds familiar. I first injured myself a few days after my birthday, when I was congratulating myself for being in better shape on many fronts that I'd been in a good while.

my main pain has been in the hips really, down the right leg. sitting/driving etc etc generally not great

I've been doing regular reccomended exercises, but not too much movement in terms of improvement.
