See the quality of this 16 year old YouTube video? That's your HD that is. That's your brand new 4K OLED TV with Dolby Atmos surround sound. "Oh, hey girls, wanna come back to mine and see my new home entertainment system?"

Seamus, you don't know me. 10 years ago I was in a crash that nearly killed. For that I was lucky but I became paralysed. Its been a hard few years. Realising that my life has changed irrecoverably. Life in wheelchair. That was until today when I heard your song. I stood up and walked over to turn this shite off. God bless you Seamus.

Its the video titles & thumbnails that are annoying me lately.

Badly photoshopped pictures and titles like

" Its so sad how ________ ended up"

"What happened to _________ was so tragic"

"After 40 years _______ finally confirms the rumor's about __________"

I recently saw a video titled " How Mick Jagger lives today is so sad"

Just more fake, insincere opportunistic internet bullshit.

I block every channel that does this.

I hate that crap too - i've not really kept up with tv the past few years but there's a 4-5 youtube channels i follow, and then there's the chewing gum for the eyes // falling asleep stuff that i put on entirely because i don't care about it.

I do still love that at some degree there are still a lot of largely independent things running on it.
Every DIY channel eventually becomes a home renovation one though..

From what I know the youtube algorithm suggests these type of titles to video creators as they say it might get more views. So the channels are probably just playing the game.
I still block em though.

I remember one youtube person a few years ago mentioning that kinda thing - they were realistic enough about it - youtube is their employer, as much as people want to view it as a totally free media, it's an employer and a gig style one at at that. if your employer suggests you do something, either you do it or go fuck your hat

Also Bill Burr : Here is how you accurately portray a PTSD attack while delivering an action sequence and drama sequence at the same time
