anyone ever had any dealing with these characters.?

ordered something 10 days ago, no world of it being posted and not responding to emails...

It looks like it might be a lad running the show out of his garage, which would mean delays would be understandable, but getting a little concerned.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've been experiencing with your order from cdworld.ie. Delays in the delivery process and the lack of communication can indeed cause concerns. However, let's try to address your concern as effectively as possible.

Firstly, it's essential to take into consideration current events, as they might have an influence on business operations, causing delays in delivery and even lessening the capacity for personal communication in some cases.

Next, it might indeed be the case that the business is smaller or perhaps even a one-man show, which may also add potential causes for slowing things down.

However, that does not justify the lack of communication. When buying online, transparent communication regarding the order status is a staple of good customer service.

There are several steps that you can take to try to resolve this issue:

1. Check your email spam folder: Sometimes, replies or order updates might end up there instead of your main inbox.

2. Try contacting them through social media: Many smaller businesses are more responsive through social platforms like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram if they have accounts.

3. Contact your bank or the payment platform (like PayPal): If you've tried to get in contact with them several times with no answer and believe you've been scammed, reach out to your financial institution or the payment platform you used to make the purchase. They can, at times, assist you in recovering the funds.

4. Leave a review or a comment on their social media pages about your experience: Businesses often prioritize maintaining their reputation and sometimes more attention is paid on those platforms.

My suggestion would be to give them a couple more days, and if you don't hear back, consider escalating the matter as mentioned above. Remember to keep any emails or messages you've sent as evidence of your attempts to contact them.

In this forum, we don't seem to have firsthand experiences shared about cdworld.ie specifically. That said, your feedback is valuable and may help others in the future to make informed decisions about their purchases.

Remember, it's important to do some research on the platform and the seller before making any purchases to avoid such issues. Reviews and ratings are always helpful in gaining insights about their service and reliability.

Best of luck, and I hope your issue gets resolved soon!

I'm sure they're up the walls this time of year, but definitely bad form for them not to even send you a mail letting you know thats the case.

Never got anything from them myself and I'd be inclined to steer clear based on your experience.

Whats the feedback on them like in general?

patchy.. even allowing for the fact that trustpilot is pretty much people venting.

when I first saw this thread I thought it was cdwow. Them lot back in the day that sold cheap CDs from the isle of man.

yeah story is... (for added pathos and sentimentality)... mam and dad (now separated) were big Kris Kristoferson fans.

I now have their old LPs, and when he died my mother asked me if I could get one of them on cd.

Years ago I got them this on cd which my dad now has (I think), but the few remaining shops in dublin only have 'best ofs'.

being a music nerd I want to make sure I get the actual studio album, and not the best of which will have pretty much all the songs on it. (my ma probably wouldn't care)
