look grandma/grandpa, language evolves and there is no point giving out about it. Its like brits giving out about the american english, an updated, improved and more internationalized version of the language with less stupid spellings spoken by 4 times the amount of people in than there even are in britland.

from american english we are evolving into ascii english, which involves the whole character set rather than just the alphabet. get used to it and get good at it.
