9 year diff isn't all that much- presentation can be everything. Saw a band a while back that didn't think of that- 3 guys in their late 30's (if not early 40's) with beer bellies and t-shirts while the 2 girl singers looked like teen totty.

And yeah I'm actually 65.

It was a joke since we're the same age. Although a 34 female IS like 65, whereas 34 year old male is 34. What the hell does it matter if you're in a band? If anything her younger age would help not hinder.
