New music from Limerick experimentalist Van Panther
Van Panther‘s Kieran Ralph is “living beyond the reach of society in a land surrounded by large trees and even larger animals” (Limerick, in other words) and comes off like some kind of Beckian / Midlakeian / (Sandy) Alex G / TMBG crossover. Which is a good thing.
Van Panther‘s composition mainly takes place in a state of dichotomy between busy urban environments and quiet rural planes; states of isolation and immersion in social engagements.
This EP attempts to embody this idea.
Written and recorded in March 2017 in a room in a house on the outskirts of a rural Irish village.
