The Chalets have just announced their first Irish gig in over a year, at the Drogheda Arts Festival.
The Chalets have announced they'll be playing at at the Drogheda Arts Festival which runs from 2nd – 7th May. This will be the band's first Irish gig in over a year, so hopefully they won't screw up too much.
"Hey Folks and Folkesses, long time no smell. We've got a little bit of news for you on the live front. We are going to play our first Irish show in over a year. We hung up our touring boots in October and have been pottering away in the garden shed ever since so if you fancy hearing some of the results why not pop on down to McHugh's at the Drogheda Arts Festival on Sunday May 6th where we'll be playing some of the future hits from album two, which lets face it, isn't going to see the light of day till early 2008. Tickets are E20.00 and are available at this number 041 9876100. We'll probably be doing a few other random gigs over the summer just to stretch our musical legs so please check the site or myspace page every once in a while."
