Somadrone has been making electronic music since 1997. Member of Dublin’s cult band, Redneck Manifesto, Somadrone has produced 4 records and has toured in both Europe and the US. Depth of Field (2010) received critical acclaim and was compared to the likes of Ryuichi Sakamoto, David Sylvian and Brian Eno. The First Wave (2013) was recorded in San Francisco, Dublin and Brooklyn NY, the record incorporates analogue drum machines, synthesizers, guitar and vocals that resulted in a cross-pollinating, genre-less, electronic sound-scape. Oracle, released Sept 18th, 2015, focuses more on a minimal approach and sketches influence from early disco, library music and acid house.

The Oracle launch gig will feature a full band, including his Redneck Manifesto bandmate Richie (Jape) Egan and David (David Kitt) Kitt. Support comes from Goodtime and Sweden’s Badlands.
