One For The Road
In 1997 two record shop employees decided to go against the grain. Frustrated with the lack of available vinyl records & inspired by the music being created all around Ireland, they decided to open a small independent record shop on Fade Street.

Over the course of the next 13 years Road Records became a much-loved fixture in Dublin & gained the attention & trust of the Irish music scene, helping many artists to find their feet and grow. But after a decade of prosperity with the music industry in a state of flux & the fall of the Celtic tiger, cracks began to show.

This is the story of how two music lovers gained the trust & respect of customers, musicians & the city itself and became a vital part of the musical and social landscape of Dublin.
