Love Music Hate Racism & The SCOOP are collaborating for a once off event featuring live performances from Patrick Kelleher, Robotnik & Squarehead among others along with DJ sets from Glider DJs Tanya Sweeney & Cillian McDonnell.
Love Music Hate Racism & The SCOOP (Save Children Out Of Poverty) Foundation are joining forces on the 20th of August to bring you a collaborative event: Love SCOOP Hate Racism @ Sweeney’s Mongrel on Dame Lane.
Love SCOOP Hate Racism will consist of three floors of some of the most exciting live and spun music around. Upstairs they have the seven piece soul journey that is Creamy Goodness, Robotnik, the musical genius that is Patrick Kelleher, two of the best new bands in Dublin , Zealots and Squarehead as well as newcomer Barrie Cassidy all playing live.
On the ground floor Gliders DJs Tanya Sweeney and Cillian McDonnell, as well resident Martin Ansbro will be playing the best of indie, rock and floor fillers. And in the basement DJs Calvin James, Sophie de Vere, Lil Dave and Stefan Hoffman promise to keep it disco til late.
There is also going to be a very special raffle for 3 Electric Picnic tickets on the night. All proceeds from the raffle are going towards the School of Life, a school for street kids in Varanasi India that the SCOOP supports: http://www.thescoopfoundation.com/projects.html#sol
The first act kicks of at 9pm sharp and will go until late. Admission on the night is free, with a suggested donation of €5 for those who can afford it.
