Hands Up Who Wants To Die are heading off to Frankfurt to record their debut album later this month, but first they need to get a few quid together so will be playing a fundraiser gig in The Twisted Pepper on Saturday 14th August.
Hands Up Who Wants To Die are four furious messers who got together in late 2008 to make music that would capture the zeitgeist and inner city …pressures of the crumbling society that surrounded them in the Dublin, Ireland. Their songs have been described as heavy, noise-y, hardcore-y, as “off-kilter noise rock”, and as “socially aware slab punk with constant discordant meanderings”.
Hands Up have played many corners of the world touring Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine, Holland, Germany and England. They shared the stage with The Redneck Manifesto, Adebisi Shank, BATS, Don Vito, Marvin, Warlords Of Pez and many more.
This will be a benefit gig for the Hands Up album which is set to be recorded at the end of August in Frankfurt , Germany . This will be their debut album and they will be playing tracks from it at the gig . The album will be released on The Richter Collective later in the year .
Support comes from Stoner riff rockers Realistic Train and a DJ set from toxic grime merchant Antrophe.
