First Music Contact have launched a free BreakingTunes.com iPhone app.
With the Breakingtunes App for iPhone you can access all the great artist profiles, music, photos and videos from the Breakingtunes.com website. Wherever you are, find gigs happening near you or browse the latest gig listings direct from the artists themselves. Listen to artists tracks watch videos and share with your friends- all for free.
The Breakingtunes App has been made possible by a grant from the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports’ Cultural Technology Scheme.
First Music Contact is a free information and advice resource for musicians and the independent music sector in Ireland. They manage the Breaking Tunes online portal, co-run the Hard Working Class Heroes Music festival and deliver the Music From Ireland project- which promotes Irish acts at 7 international music showcases – in partnership with Culture Ireland and IMRO, the Irish Music Rights Organisation.
Breaking Tunes is an online music portal created by FMC to establish an online presence for new Irish music. Breaking Tunes now boasts 1890 artist profiles and serves to make new music available to discover for audiences and industry alike.
