In Dublin of course there’s the Thumped Christmas Booze Up which takes place in Sin É (14-15 Ormond Quay). There’s also the Death Via Satellite XMAS Party in Eamonn Dorans, Sleepless Nights 60’s Soul Night in The Belvedere or Black Ghosts (Vocal/DJ Set), Padded Cel (DJ Set) in Crawdaddy. In Cork, Sylvan, Vimanas, Sea Area Forecast, [r]evolution of a sun play Fred Zepplins, and in Galway The Redneck Manifesto play the Roisin Dubh.

Dublin has Kerbdog & Giveamanakick at The Village & the Joe Strummer 5th Anniversary gig at The Voodoo Lounge, while Cork has The Redneck Manifesto at Cyprus Avenue and Galway gets The Jimmy Cake at the Roisin Dubh.
Sunday 23rd
Large Mound
The Jimmy Cake play Whelans in Dublin, with Large Mound & Crumb rocking the Boom Boom Room. Down in Cork, Random Friend Selecter, Honest Spud Leonard, Eoin Jordan play Cyprus Avenue

Ten Past Seven
Ten Past Seven, Los Langeros, Vox Populi, Tina Turbo play Baker Place in Limerick.
Thursday 27th
Dublin has Spilly Walker, Donal Dineen, Barry Redsetta & JB The DeeJay in Whelans & Channel One, Super Extra Bonus Party, Antics DJs are round the corner in The Village.

Droppin’ Bombs, Lobotomies, Stunt, Numskull, Axis Of all play The Bunker in Belfast, Seneca, Mark O’Connor, The Hitchers are in Dolan’s in Limerick, and Dublin has the Rock Jihad Christmas Extravaganza in The International or DMXKREW, FILARIA & ZOID in Kennedy’s.
Saturday 29th
BATS
Dublin has The Radio, The Zealots & The Rumours playing Radio City, while Yurt, Mongolia, BATS are on in The Lower Deck.
Monday 31st
Fight Like Apes, Betamax Format & A Lazarus Soul play the Phantasm New Year’s Eve party in The Village while Jape, Si Schroeder & Ugly Megan see the new year in with Foggy Notions round in Whelans. Down at the Roisin Dubh in Galway you can do the new year thing with Delorentos, The Ghostwood Project, Mirakil Whip, Disconnect 4, Merman & Gugai himself.
