Those top 500 lists make me realise how fucking white rock and roll or indie or whatever the fuck NME and Rolling Stone pedal really is. There are some undeniably great records in both lists but it seems like Non-white american/british artists don't exist but for some token entries. It really shows to my mind how these magazines and their journos purport to be open minded but really have the tastes of a 15 year old middle class white kid.
