Funkadelic Free Your Mind and Your Ass Will Follow
The Velvet Underground White Light/White Heat
Dirty Three Ocean Songs

There are loads of artists whose entire back catalogues mean a lot to me (Einstuerzende Neubauten, Coil, Keiji Haino, Nick Cave, Godspeed/Silver Mt. Zion, Low, etc.) but these are the ones I go back to the most and the ones that when they are playing, I find it very hard to do anything else other than listen intently and air guitar/air violin along.

Just does it for me. I really love their early 70s stuff (not as hot on their later stuff) and this one is the one that gets played most often. It's brilliant.
Right, I tend to prefer Maggot Brain so was just curious if you had a specific reason. S'all good stuff though.

Maggot Brain is great but Free Your Mind... has the edge. Plus the CD reissue has that "Fish Chips and Sweat" song (think it was a b-side) which is probably my favourite Funkadelic song.
