Finally got around to getting a 360 today. Bloke in the shop mentioned that some old XBOX titles won't work, anyone know where i can get a list? If halo doesn't work, i'll cry salty tears. Also, where's cheap for second hand games?

ETA: oh the other thing, to set it up with NTL to share a connection with a pc, what's needed? Is it just a router or...?? Sorry, utterly clueless about this kind of thing.

when i had the old xbox i just plugged it into the back of my mac and did a bit of googling to find out what exact isp and and all those other codes to put in..
worked a charm.

Really looking forward to COD3. Looking forward to it more than GOW to be honest. Heard some wonderful stuff about it and it's supposed to be really mind blowing and intense. Multiplayer meant to be great too.

I've never ever wanted to play one of those war games. and I managed about 10 minutes of playing Rainbow 6 before I got bored of it.

Unless I'm killing mutants/aliens I'm just not interested.

Want to get Tiger woods but it'll have to wait for a while.

Here, what about a game like Resistance: Fall of Man, where you're playing a WWII soldier guy fighting aliens/mutants? Where does that fall in the Stan-o-meter? Kosher?

Well I have to say resistance has confused the bejesus out of me. I guess I'm shooting aliens with ridiculous weapons, so it has to register pretty high on the stan-o-meter.

But seeing as its on the ps3 and I won't be getting one of them for another few years it doesn't really matter!

Not a very encouraging review that one. This one is much more positive though. And again, the multiplayer sounds a blast!

Took a run around town at lunch which took in the two gamestops, Game on Henry Street and HMV on Henry street. None of those were selling it.

Went into Smyths last night at 9.30pm. They're open until 11pm until Christmas. Anyway, they were selling FEAR and Call of Duty 3 last night. Worth remembering for Gears of War next week.

Aye, picked it up in Gamestop lastnight. Pretty fucking cool game. Graphics are brilliant, on-line has gone very "Battlefield".

The boyos in Gamestop reckon Gears has a good chance of coming out mid-week, but that there's a wee chance it won't come early as it's loike an "official" Microsoft game and all that shite. Apparently they hand out fines for shops that do bold things.

I'm STILL waiting for gears of war to be delivered from play, it was only dispatched nine days ago. Glad I took the plunge and bought it last Friday.

Also anyone play that new XBLA game, small arms?? I didn't take to it at all, too fast for an old man like me...
