that'll be the end of it then tho - there can't be any more worth unreleased stuff. they started losin it with brighten the corners and the less said about terror twishite the better! crooked it better than wowee i reckon - less flab!
 
They were getting rave reviews months before their debut album came out. I think they might have come to a lot of people's attention without the assistance of one radio station. John Peel was probably spinnin' em long before KROQ anyhoo.

The Wedding Present's cover of Box Elder was released in February 1990 too - early days.

brighten the corners is prob my second most favourite pavement album after wowee zowee! took ages to grow on me mind you. loads of great songs on it!!! would listen to it over crooked rain crooked rain any day !ninjaaaa
