handsworth revolution follied by master of puppets follied by something by beethoven. that's my evening right there. rappa.

i just discovered a box of my old demos from 2 years ago. listening to those in bed till about 4am. well funny.

omd, architechure and morality
dmc, demo cdr

Me -
Miles Davis - In A Silent Way.
The best way to start a monday - and also a great soundtrack while thinking back on the depraved, seediness of my weekend...
Seedy...yay!

well this morning i sat in work and listened to hailstones on the window, and listened to the screams of the girls from the loretto convent running through the rain, as a hundred stupid people asked me a hundred stupid questions.

right now, i'm listening to someone talking about doing the ECDL

i think it's time for some Bill Cullen on the headphones

dat's riiiighht....

Grace Jones - Island Life (1985)

....I'm finding this one more interesting everytime. She still scares me though.

Pull up to the bumper, Baby! In your long black limosuine. DIRTY! Shit, Aguillera WISHES she was this dirty! Island Life is a fantastic collection...bass players take note.

Speaking of being scared...my first exposure to lesbian porn at the age of 8 or 10 or something featured Grace Jones in a swimming pool with another lady. Damn. It was really hot but I was totally freaked. I'd still like her to throw me up against a wall though...damn.

The Dirty 3 -She has no strings Apollo
Interpol- Turn on the bright lights
Mumblin' Deaf Ro-Senor my Friend
Some cheap album I bought by Faust (note not actual title!)
..and my own compostions over and over and over and over
:D

Cat Powers new disc (anyone heard?)

I like it alot. and easier to get into then that moonpix one (even though that wasn't all *that* hard to get into, i was just in a funny mood that day).

today i listened to the last kristen hersh cd, bcos i'm excited about the gig. i also listened to low's trust and the flaming lips one about robots.

i can't think of any suitably obscure bands at the moment, but i'll keep you all posted if i have any ideas ... um, anyone ever heard of transchud? if not, then i was listening to them last night
