The Blackbird cover is really nice - she keps teh McCartney toe tap in there. The world's first click track?
And the Jolene cover is a hoot. It's not a covers record, but these two are very immediate.

I remember TREEPEOPLE (previous band of Built To Spill main guy) but never heard of BTS until now. Just sayin'.

Yeah - one of the best bands associated with whole Seattle thing.
Good catchy tunes but not really grunge - from what I remember.

Waxahatchee - Tigers Blood (2024)
This kind of Americana is so easy for me to listen too. She has just hit the golden spot in these last two records. It's like putting on a Tom Petty or Neil Young album. Her vocals are so nice.

These seem like real nice kids, playing some 90s inspired american guitar music. Listening to them is the equivalent of watching a good Coming of Age movie. Lovely vocals again.

Both playing Dublin this summer. I'm on the hunt for decent balcony tickets for Waxahatchee. Only restricted view available on the last look.
