i think i really only really like two songs on justice, but i'd be hard pressed to name two songs on anything after the black album

Justice must have been a big disappointment on release?
poor production, I only really like One.

The Black album had better songs being honest.

After that I took very little notice of Metallica. Tomorrow Never Comes was good but that's all I can think of.
listening to St. Anger the whole way through after watching Some Kind of Monster didn't help.

I wasn’t exactly overwhelmed anyway but they chose the opening and closing songs very well. One is unlistenable now - How many more times did they rewrite Fade To Black/ Welcome Home/One?

Formula is one thing but the same notes in the same order at slightly different tempo is pushing it lads.

Then there was a million 'unforgivens' as well.

I like the first single off the new covid/unkraine coloured album but downhill since then.

They probably much like the smashing pumpkins, need an editor in the room.
