What you been listening to this week? (3 Viewers)

I’ve been making 15 song playlists with a friend back home. We’ve done bands from, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia and themes like “radio hits we sing in the car” and a few “best-ofs” of particular bands. It’s entertaining and making me listen to things I haven’t in ages.

There have been plenty overlaps of bands but only one song thus far, which I enjoy. I think we are both staying away from obvious hits and when amongst other artists, each song becomes a new experience in away. It’s nice. Refreshing.

amazing Belgian crossover LP from 1986 and 1985 demo finally reissued by Brazilian
label but only on CD.
this is one of the best crossover thrash records with very political lyrics but is fairly little known.
sounds a bit like CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER crossed with early SACRILEGE ?!

So far

Murmur (thumped recommends...) R.E.M. Which i liked but probabyl wont go back to till I'm allowed back in teh workshop.

20200 / Richard Dawson. Finally doing the album after wearing out the singles. First 4 songs are perfect. Pretty amazing at that alone.

Besides the minor bitterness at having invented this concept a decade ago I still am digging these

What concept is that now ann?

I'm probably gonna listen to New Country now on Spotify so enjoy those 0.006's USD per stream.

I'd put you on RTE if I was in charge of bookings.

although that might be why i'm not in charge of bookings,

I like that song a lot, although I'm not wild about his lyrics most of the time. This morning I listened to two albums by this lady called Joan Shelley who I never head of until today. It;s nice folky singer songwriter stuff

Listening to this Human League Anthology comp from a few years back, it's incredibly well sequenced, a real journey.
