Did you get sick of Neil young?!

Nope, never, I'm even listening to him right now. However, I do have plenty of other things to be listening to that I also love. Seeing you post a bunch of Haino and me picking up his last few releases makes me feel like I should do a run through of his stuff. Might take me the whole year though.

These Haino albums with Oren Ambarchi drumming (and Jim O'Rourke or the other lad on bass) are all leaving me pretty cold. What do you think of them?

I think the Haino/O'Rourke/Ambarchi trio albums are hit or miss, a couple of them are really great and a couple of them are kind of boring. I haven't listened to the newest one yet. Nazoranai (the trio with Stephen O'Malley instead of O'Rourke) are class though, those two albums feel more like Fushitsusha than any of the recent Fushitsusha albums.

Haven't a clue, he doesn't seem to be doing any thing (live or studio) with the name. For the record, I do like (most of) the recent Fushitsushas but none of them have that vibe that the 90s/early 00s releases had. They sound like Haino all right but not Fushitsusha.

That's a lot of albums I have never listened to.

Although Tin Drum is there, so 10/10

I need to get more by Japan, this is the only one I've ever heard. I have one David Sylvain solo album (it's a compilation at that), another prolific artist that will consume my time, money and listening.

Tin Drum and Gentlemen Take Polaroids are probably the only Japan albums good from start to finish, the rest have excellent highlights though. I've been meaning to get more of his solo stuff myself, I've dipped into it here and there but it can be hard going.

Listening to this album a lot, love this track in particular.
