Treme's class. Lots of characters I'd happily go drinking with. Shame it was cancelled.

I never got through season one, there were scratches on the dvds so I gave up. Other things went up in my queue but maybe I should go back?

it's worth a watch but it's not something you binge watch. i'd watch it over a few months rather than a few weeks.

watched the first 2 episodes of german WW2 mini series over last couple of night.
didnt bother when on rte a couple of months back.
excellent. from same lads that did Downfall also. combat scenes are great. as is the whole thing. watching last one later on

Oh man how did I miss that the final season of Tremé was out. At its best its probably my favourite show although I can see its many flaws.

Currently I am going through Southland, LA based cop procedural. It's good, corny in parts, but I like that for example back pain and concomitant pain medication addiction is a running theme and that the implications of camera phones, social media on the pigs' jobs are explored. It got cancelled after 5 series, currently on the 4th and I can sorta see already why it was cancelled. It as already said what it needed to say I suppose.

Yeah it was excellent. I felt it could have done with being longer. I wouldn't like it if I were Polish though, hack job in that regard.

I've never seen her in CSI as I don't own a TV and wouldn't bother hunting it down but I'm assuming she devours the screen every time the camera is on her.

So yeah watch Treme if for nothing else just to see her.

The characters are great, the plot, if you could call it that is not going to have you gripped though. Still It's well directed and the acting is superb. If you invest yourself in the lives of the characters you'll be hooked.

Totally agree. Though I haven't seen The Corner yet but she is brilliant in Treme. Pretty much all of the actors are though, even the ones playing characters who are really annoying (like the aw shucks developer guy).

he looked and spoke like a nice, well fed, trouble free, wholesome Scandinavian chap. he just didn't convince as a deperate junkie.
