watched 2 episodes last night and I thought it was really good. They burned through some hella good actors in episode 1 though

to me that was good tv. Some fab acting

yeah that's true, the acting and the details are all great. Greg and Tom's slaps in thu jacks, that video thing with Carl singing. It's just the big picture plot I'm complaining about

Tom being described as a "pain sponge" by Mattson was also a killer.

I wouldn't be so kind. Ted Lasso is Painful to watch. Only the American's get to resemble humans. As for Nate. The worst character on TV.

s2 is when it lost it for me. Haven't bothered with this one, probably won't.

I finished Inside number 9 last night. Quite good, but then I'm holding it to very high standard. There's a quiz show episode (second last episode) I really want to trick someone into watching as if it was a real quiz show.

That somehow led on to Colin From Accounts. Pleasingly low risk fluff. Not a spoiler, but the Colin character isn't actually the male protagonist.

have picked off a few episodes of 'A High Desert' on AppleTV. Entertaining but I haven't really a clue whats going on.

Also, Platonic. Very dialog heavy but its grand. Rose Byrne is in it so all good.
