A worksafe indie day.

Kind meh no? Couple of good songs.

I like it a lot, which suprised me because I found The Covers Album fairly patchy, thought The Greatest had even less interesting songs and when I last saw her live, she and her band (the same on who made most of Jukebox) were fucking torturing the classics. It was shite. Which makes it all the more suprising that I like this one. It just sounds fan-fucking-tastic. I'm in a big Fender Rhodes place at the moment, maybe thats why. But I expected to not like it. She can still get away with a lot just because of the voice I think but even the Joni Mitchell cover was interesting. And she doe sound a lot happier than on her other records, its actually audible. Song To Bobby is great I think.

However I still prefer You Are Free and Moon Pix.
