also, TG once upon a time CD, i got a while back... is it a bootleg/re-release of some sorts, you know? second track on it is ridiculously good..

as far as i can recall, it's a bootleg of the live performance at the lyceum in london, 1981 (tg's third last gig, barring the recent reformed concerts). if it's the one with the twenty+ minute version of "discipline", then it's that.

yes, it's probably the best version in its relentlessness. there is a really vicous version of "discipline" in the heaven gig (bootlegged as "beyond jazz funk" / "funk beyond jazz") which is basically a huge wall of microphone feedback, heavy beats and demented screaming.
