What movie did you watch last night? (3 Viewers)

Shaolin Soccer - good stuff. not as good as kung Fu Hussle though.

I started watching it dubbed and thought it was shite - then thought I'd give it a another go with the subtitles - it was a completely different film!!!! Still not as good as Kung Fu Fustle i agree.

Watched Munich earlier - good until the last 45 minutes. It got a bit dull then. I found it really weird that Eric Banna got more Jewish looking as the film went on - his hair started to get curlier!

yeah - last 45 mins was boring but I guess it reflected how the assassins were feeling. I did find myself losing interest around then myself.

Scoop. Was alright, but had some horrible over acting though, not to mention some occasionally ropey writing too. This is the great Woody Allen?

Not last night but did anyone else see "Casino Royal" the other day - the James Bond spoof with David Niven... totally daft! Quite a cast though... Peter Sellers, Woody Allen...

it's excellent. Better than a few of the 'straight' Bond movies.
great soundtrack too.

That was one of the best spoofs ever - I rolled around the place laughing!! Must get the DVD for my own collection. Have you seen the new one yet - has anyone? Any good?

Wizz

Last night I watched Matewan. Amazing! Gives a great insight into the struggles in the early political days of trade unionism in the US. I should have watched it ages ago. Very highly recommended.

I think I will have to watch it again.

I gave Mel a shout and dragged him over to mine; as the patriot was on and the nipper had washed the remote control earlier that day. I was like:

"NO WAY COREY MATE, (sniff, cry) i could'nt have done it wthout you. YOU the man, Corey. You the maaha-haaaan."

It was beautiful. Yous shoulda been there.

I watched Key Largo. Another deadly Bogart/Bacall movie. Edward G Robinson is class too. Older films, which are often based on adaptations from the stage, have so much more dialogue, plot and acting in them.

Ah, the olden days . . .
