What movie did you watch last night? (9 Viewers)

I can't say I agree. Half the time he seemed funny and likable but a bit of a gobshite. Wife-beating and torture made him rather more unlikable. Likeable or not, you have to mind the end because, well, you know (I've forgotten how to do the spoiler thing).

Up there with Scorsese and Coppola? I think so! Not as good as Goodfellas but better than Casino. Much better than Godfather 3.

fair points, but i still think it was heavy handed towards the end.

and in fairness, your average episode of fair city is better then godfather 3.

Mesrine is one of the greatest gangster films ever. They didn't even need to do much with it, just show some of the amazing stuff he got up to because he was a total mentalist.

People who don't like the South African accent in District 9 can fock off.

Awful, awful, awful film that I just couldn't stop watching. Danny Dyre and Tamir Hassan spend the majority of thier early scene wearing only super short shorts and gazing longingly at each other while Danny Dyre's narration includes gem like "This geezer was so hard even his nightmares were scared of him"

Holy Exploding Octopus Batman! That shark bit is one of the greatest pieces of cinema history ever produced. I fucking love the old Batman, fucking hilarious.
One of the best episodes of any series ever is an old Batman where Batman has to enter a surf competition to stop The Joker winning and somehow taking over the world, fucking genius.
