i didnt SAY she was washed up because of how she looked. but now that you mention it her 'dress' was fucking ridiculous. but that's just mho.

and i'm on team Saoirse too. i hated atonement but she was the hook it hung on and i think she deserves any award above the performance swinton gave.

Actully they spend the whole time telling us about how George is this great fixer -a miracle worker - they never show us any of this - they just repeat it like a fucking mantra and expect the viewer to accept it.

that's like complaining that they didn't show him passing his bar exams yet expect us to accept that he's a lawyer.
