What movie did you watch last night? (5 Viewers)

I think it must account for Pr-pr-pr-pronsias's success as well. Frank Ross just doesn't cut it.

I see. It's the old take the word and spell it as it would be if it had been an Irish word all along. Much like vehicle becoming feithiceail. I was just working off the former T-shirt Haughey being Cathal O'hEochagain. Bertie should go under Parlathan O'hEatharn, sounds much more impressive.

last film seen was "kinsey". pretty average. spoiled by liam neeson's stupid haircut. his acting was good though. one very amusing moment regarding the word "horse". hated the montage of faces talking over the fucking map though./

have divided into the first series of "strangers with candy" on dvd, again. great stuff. the father is the best character.

Last night I watched Indian Summer from 1993 - about a group of thirtysomethings going back to the camp they spent their teenage years

no Mrs or Jason just more like a Big Chill but made me feel all glowy
just saw this post while reading through the thread - great movie

Last night I went to see a documentary called Overnight in the IFI. I wanted to see Dear Wendy but the fuckers changed the times around. Anyway, Overnight is pretty decent, sort of like Dig! except it is about an arrogant film director.

Today I watched Barefoot Gen, a japanese animation about the nuking of Hiroshima. Grim. It makes Grave of the Fireflies look like a barrel of laughs.

after the greatness of mr majestyk i watched the life aquatic

i was expecting averageness but i thought it was great

surprises me that everyone was so lukewarm about it

sweet! first series definitely the best by a country mile.. "and remember, they all want cake."

watched meet the feebles for the millionth time last night. great as always. ever get the feeling that a lot of shit from "team america' came from here? puppets shagging, vomiting, getting their heads shot off etc.....

followed that up with "sweet sixteen". I'm relatively new to ken loach. a lot of people seem to think he's a bit of a bleakmeister, but I find his movies quite uplifting, human.. good drama and a lot of humour generally. this was pretty good. and all in unintelligible scottish. och!!!

Warning! I found it really really boring at the start but I can assure you it gets better.

Just watched Things to Do in Denver when You're Dead, hadn't seen it in years. .|..|

"I'm not adopted and I'm not an Indian. It's just a coincidence that I have a love of gambling and booze and a knack for catching syphilis."
"You know, Paul, I'm very interested in you... SEXUALLY. I like the pole and the hole, and right know I'm as MOIST as a snack cake down there. So, how about you come on over, and I'll make your pinky, alllll STINKY."
"All right everybody, for tomorrow I want you to write a history poem on Hiroshima. But nothing too faggy."
"It's unthinkable, the atrocities that the Native Americans committed against the buffalo. No one is certain what exactly the Native Americans did to the poor creatures, but whatever it was, it caused the buffalo to become so depressed, that when the white men came, the buffalo committed suicide by jumping in front of the white men's muskets."
"Lets go watch some gay porn so we can get our hate back."
"Greeks are just Jews without money!"
"I didn't know what I was doing anymore. I was overweight, balding, and I had no one. So I turned to marijuana. And the only thing it fixed was my life. Be warned! If you smoke pot, you will spend a lot of time laughing with your friends."

butt-vent. haw haw. sorry... yeah 'the wind that shakes the barley'. a mate of mine was an assistant location manager (or something) for this. he had some choice words about some of the locals haha! he had to deal with the law a good bit (for closing roads etc.). apparently most cops around cork/kerry will take a bribe at the drop of a hat. which is good to know!

I read a pretty good review which quoted some unbelievable shit ffrom out of his mouth. if this guy is half as obnoxious as he sounds, I'm gonna enjoy this! :D

about adam: worst piece of shite ive seen since death to smootchy, couldnt take more than 30 mins of it.
Q: was kate hudsons irish accent dubbed?
saw the last 5 minutes... my capsule review: get keyser söze on the cast, crew, director, lighting people, caterers, producers, their families, pets, friends etc. when an actor turns to the camera and gives a knowing/cheeky grin or says some smartass aside it makes little baby jesus cry. blood.

heheheh. deadly quotes! "I'd wake up with blood on my ass, and then we'd get high.." don't actually own a copy, an american friend does. might have to pay her a 'visit' soon, ie: rob it back off her for a few weeks. but yeah, couldn't find a region 2 release last time I looked so...

there's a movie prequel out, but I wonder if it'll even get released over here if nobody knows about it?
