What gig did you go to last night? (7 Viewers)

Nicko is 71.
Nuff respect.
He's a born-again Christian with his own restaurant too, specialising in ribs

Thought it could have been louder but still fucking class all the same
It was loud up near the front. Actually the FOH guy pushed the shit out of the system during The Man Machine, to the point people at the front started moving back, then he reined it back in a bit after that track - it was getting seriously loud there. Radioactivity still was still heavy as fuck, it's my favourite live Kraftwerk track.

Too Many Zooz on Fri in The Sugar Club - don't think I'd been there since launching the first Stoat album in 2005. Loads of fun - they're a NY busking act, bass sax plus drums plus trumpet. Kinda brass-based techno

Missed getting a ticket for this, but then they announced a late-night show. I got a ticket for that, but it was for a ridiculous price, €2 or something. I was wondering what the fuck that was about, then a few days later that ticket was 'cancelled' or whatever and I couldn't get a ticket after that.

thurston moore group were excellent last night. loved it. i hadn't kept up with the solo stuff since the break up of sonic youth, but i found the songs to be in familiar territory. sometimes sounding very sonic youth, sometimes less so. really great intense swelling noise towards the latter half. deb googe killing it. ears are ringing a bit today
