My face hurts from smiling so much. I'm sure it's in print but I'd suggest the audiobook. Her reading of it is absolutely hilarious. Just like David Sedaris, you can buy the book and you'll laugh but when you hear him telling the stories it's ten times funnier. It basically covers her life from a young kid to her current fame. Little stories brought together and yes it's peppered with 'pro women' sentiments here and there but it's not overwhelming. Granted, some of the earlier stories are probably more geared to women as it's about her becoming one. I actually laughed out loud while walking in the park and got stares. She mentioned something I hadn't thought of since I was about 11 years old.
I would say one thing though, if I were her editor I would have made one correction. At one point she was talking about her skinny and her overweight chubby stages. Fine. If she kept it at that but she gave her height (same as mine) and then her dress sizes for those times. Why the hell she did this I will never know. There was no need. You kind of blew the whole positive vibe of feeling good about yourself and your body when I realized I'm your 'fat' dress size. Thanks for calling me chubby, Tina. I feel real great about my body now but I'll let it slide. I still love you because you're witty as hell.
