I wouldn't imagine it being like that, Weezer haven't had anything in the charts since the single with the fat 'uns, so unless they have a sizeable hit in the very near future (cos i'm gonna buy all the tickets) it should be safe enough.

Hmm I loved everything pre-Green. Green was pretty shit and I remember being really disappointed that I paid full price for it and it was only 28 minutes long. Maladroit was slightly better though. Have they had an album since then?

No, that's it so far.
I think Green is better than Maladroit. Both good records but don't compare to Blue and Pinkerton. Pinkerton is one of the greatest records ever.

The Blue reissue is pretty cool - although not cheap.

Didnt like Beverly Hills on first listen, but its already grown on me. I've heard its not a reflection on rest of album so im still hopin for better songs on Make Believe.

The video for Bev Hills was done at the playboy mansion. They really like their concept/celebrity videos...happy days, the muppets, the zoo, now the Hef!

usually good videos all the same, i prefered Marco Siega's video for Island in the Sun than the cute Spike Jonze one with the lion cubs n bears. It was based in a garden at a wedding reception.

Never understand why some people don't like Green. Twas the first Weezer album I bought so that might explain why I like it so much but .... it's a great album .. perfect 1234 pop-rock stuff.

Beverly Hills is pretty throwaway but good fun and catchy as fuck ... though it does sound a bit like Joan Jett's "I Love Rock'n'roll" ....
