Click the Adblock icon --the option appears in the dropdown and you can chose to disable it by page or by domain

The worst thing about adblock is that it works too well on normal sites (news sites etc) since they'll have standardised ads but on the sites you actually want adblock for (dodgy streaming sites etc) then it just doesn't work at all.

Haven't noticed any degradation. Your block lists might not be up to date or you're not subscribed to enough ones. Tinker around in the preferences.
