Waterstones Dublin - R.I.P (1 Viewer)

Any idea what I'm supposed to do with all the points on my card?

Get in to us over the weekend. We close today at 7 and Sunday at 6.30, but any loyalty card points WILL be redeemed in Hodges. You don't have to worry about them closing (anytime soon). Same applies to Waterstone's vouchers or gift cards. A lot of people are in panic buying, but you don't have to do that. There may be something in the Jervis shop before close tomorrow, but we're not sure what's happening.

Next biggest bookshop in Dublin (besides Hodges, the biggest in Ireland) is Chapters on Parnell Street. Don't forget about the small indies (eg, Gutter Bookshop in Temple Bar).

Haven't been into Chapters yet, will certainly take a look this week. Hodges might be my new playground from now on though.

I was on town today for the first in ages. What's with all the budget book shops? They're all over the place-all selling the same stock

I got a collected Walking Dead Vol 1 for 50 quid in Chapters-- Vol 2 is 80 quid in Waterstones...mad money

I'd generally be very in favour of more book shops but those budget ones only seem to sell rubbishy ould shite for people who don't really bother reading. At least chapters has decent enough cheap stuff along with the crap.

That new-ish posh bookshop near the queen of tarts has hardly anything in it, I don't know what they think theyre doing.

There was an Arts bookshop that opened up for a while but I think it has closed. Without the schoolbook trade our store would never have been viable.

I must start using my card in hf,those paper cards with stamps on are terrible, how are we supposed to carry them around? Most impractical.

Jesus, if you can't handle carrying a piece of light cardboard around then you don't deserve to get any money off.

Yeah, I had 3 cards before and got the stamps transferred onto one.

It was hard work though, great loss to human life. I almost didn't survive.
