ah, i'd stay away from the walkers. we went to a safety workshop in tonykealys, who refuses to sell them, and he said they're lethal.

they're banned in canada, and i think there are moves to do the same here. supposedly giving a baby mobility when they're not actually ready for it can be very dangerous, ie., when they do finally walk it's only because they're then ready to do so
I've done some reading on this too and I think these articles and the controversy are referring to the type of walker that the baby sits into, like this :
