I also like Neil Hannon's voice.

I was working just off Baggot St. a while ago & saw Neil Hannon dropping his kid off to school every day.
One day as he, the missus & the kid were walking past & the kid says:
"There's something in my shoe"

and Neil replied

"..yes, it's your foot."

Sounds kinda lame now but when he said it in his cool, posh accent it was funny.

God, I sound like a girl.

Seriously.
WTF was the deal with Frank Sidebottom.
I remember switching on 'No. 73' one Saturday morning as a kid & there he was.

i'll read the fucking thread after i post, so if someone has already mentioned the following, etc etc

Perry Farrell
Tom Araya
Jay Farrar (this is a stretch, but there's something about that monotone...)
Neil

top of my head stuff, that. i guess you could say they aren't technically great singers, but i associate their voices with good periods of my life.

That's Willow, she was in the creche with my little one, until she went to school. I met him a few times. I was a big fan of his back in the day so the first time I met him I was a bit nervous. I had been out running and actually ran to the creche and there he was, at the door. He said hello but I couldn't because I was panting and being all miserable. I didn't know what to say to him, so I just said "Sorry, I don't usually sweat this much". He looked a bit perplexed and said "Oh, that's all right."

hmm

Also, I meant to say this guy's (below) voice is ideal for hangover time. Soothing.
