vocal effects (1 Viewer)

Hey sweetjane,

What are you looking for exactly? vocal effects for live? or studio effect? If you say what your looking for it might be easier to help you look for what you need.

These are relatively new on the market and nice and cheap, vocal effect stomp-boxes, I was thinking of picking up the pitch correction one myself, think they go on thomann for around the 200 mark.. That said I've not tried them but for a hardware pitch corrector it's pretty well priced.

any one familiar with the digitech 300
or anything similar

im thinking of purchasing one.

I got one of them for live vocal effects. Its deadly! Tonnes of FX on it, fully programmable. I bought it from thomann for 185 euro. Bargain!

I would look at http://www.voicetonepedals.com/ its an off shot of the TC Electronic company. They would be better effects and range then digitech. Really depends on what you want to do though. I know PJ Harvey uses guitar pedals on her vocals. And the whole pitch correction thing should be a no no to anyone in ,my opinion. It takes away the natural and distinct tone of your vocals live. Studio is fine but its really up to the singer i guess.
