This is overlooked. It's rather startling that this goes unmarked by his followers who, almost unanimously, believe that it doesn't need to be determined at all...."they hate us for our freedoms"

What does this mean?

Does it mean that Trump behind the disgusting rabble rousing actually believes that there are valid reasons for people in Iraq, Syria, Yemen etc. to have a grievance with the US? Does that make his trolling better or worse?

It's is funny the things he manages to get his audience to accept - that coming from anyone else would be complete heresy. Obama has been called a "pussy" on Fox News for his speech the other night but Trump manages to ignore the core tenet of American anti-islamism "they hate us for our freedoms" and not a single tea-partier thinks it remarkable?

The other thing being overlooked was the part of the comment about how we need to wait "until our lawmakers figure out what is going on with this thing"

It struck me that this is someone who doesn't see himself now or ever as one of the lawmakers.

Could you imagine Cruz or Rubio saying something similar?

Seems to me that Trump is tipping his hand here and that he knows he's just the troll candidate and is riding the low information tea bag wave of resentment as long as he can, but knows himself it won't last.
