Did I ever mention that my Dad, Dick, designed the Urei logo in the late 60's prior to the company being bought out by JBL? He wasn't a designer but a production manager, but in those days, in small companies, you needed to be a jack of all trades. True.
He also coined the product "chili burger", and ice-cream between two chocolate biscuits. Don't know if that is true or not, but spent many evenings at Putnams house, of Universal Audio, and his table-top Pong and massive boa constrictors roaming the pool area in North Hollywood.
