MusicPlanetRadio.com is happy to hear that Lone Justice, the ’80s-era band led by Maria McKee, have announced their first album in 37 years! Viva Lone Justice, their first since 1987’s Shelter, will be out late October. Although “new,” it’s actually an old recording from what looks to be the second iteration of the band that recorded their debut. Hopefully, the album’s liner notes will fill in all the blanks on the forthcoming new/old release.

The band behind the always cool McKee, who sang and played guitar, included Marvin Etzioni on bass, Ryan Hedgecock on guitar and the late Don Heffington on drums. They shared a blazing cover of The Undertones’ “Teenage Kicks” Rock Out!
