Triggering the electribe emx/esx with a footswitch (2 Viewers)

Just wondering if anyone knows if this is possible? is there a midi footswitch or something that can do this?

As far as I know you can trigger it with a Boss rc-50.

Thanks, Yeah i think it should work okay but the cheapest midi footswitch i can find (quickly) is €160 which could make for an expensive experiment.

What about programming something like this to trigger the play button?

There must be some cheap device that'll trigger a play button that can be stepped on.
